AH Consulting won the one day MTN Business Golf tournament played at the par 72 Kitante Golf course yesterday evening.
The team made up of national golf captain Phillip Kasozi, Baker Mwanja, Timothy Okwi and Herbert Rwambibazi, they went on to beat 12 Corporate teams returning with 104 stableford points.
Sheraton Hotel that was made up of David Sekitoleko, John Kasangaki, Patrick Mugisha and Anthony Okullo was runner ups with 99 points.
For the last 5 years MTN Uganda has sponsored the MTN Monthly Mug which runs throughout the annual golf calendar. Over time, this property has evolved and today the Uganda Golf Club now fully runs and manages the Monthly Mug events.
The MTN Business Golf day, which will be an annual event, further stamps MTN’s support and presence at the Golf club.
Samsung II was third with 95 points the team was made up of Jadu Patel, Daniel Kalimuzo, Nester Byamugisha and James Rwanyarare.
Anne Abeja and Walter Capes where the ladies and men’s individual winners with 39 and 36 points respectively.
The Longest drive awards went to Vincent Asiimwe and Gloria Mbaguta while the hole in One award was taken by Don Gorman.
