All Africa games bronze medalist and Uganda’s top tennis player Duncan Mugabe, will be out of action for two months after sustaining a hand injury while travelling on a motorbike.
“He will be out of action for two months, but hopefully he will get back to the courts as he gets ready for some action,” Cedric Babu, his manager said. “It’s unfortunate that he had landed on a travel grant from the Uganda Olympic Committee when he got this accident. He was supposed to have travelled to Nigeria for Futures tournaments in West Africa.”
Mugabe is coming off a good spell where he bagged a bronze medal he is prepapring to represent the country at next year’s Olympics.
At the same time Mugabe has been offered a scholarship to pursue a degree in finance management at Victoria University at Kamwokya.
