Despite a 2-2 draw in the first-leg final last week, AS Vita head coach, Florent Ibenge insists their chances are intact.
The first leg result gives Algerian side, ES Setif, an edge backed by the two away goals, but Ibenge who doubles as coach of the DR Congo national team revealed to cafonline.com that,
Our chances are intact to win the trophy and that is what we will do in Algiers. We will play all out to go back home with the trophy. The goal we conceded early in the (first leg) game tremendously disturbed us. We dominated the game and created a lot of opportunities. Also, I think luck turned its back on us. I knew we would face a strong side and the fact that ES Setif is in the final means they are a strong side
Meanwhile, Governor of Kinshasa city, Andre Kimbuta Yango is reported to have announced that a chartered plane with fans of the Black Dolphins left Saturday morning for Algiers to support Vita. The Chartered Plane will return with the fans next Sunday.
