Algeria humiliates Mauritania in international build up duel

International Friendly: Algeria 6-0 Mauritania

Algeria Desert Foxes made easy prey of Mauritania, registering a massive 6-0 victory at the Centre Technique National, Sidi Moussa on Tuesday.

Leicester City’s Islam Slimani netted a brace in the game.

Riyad Mahrez, Yassin Brahimi, Saphir Taïder and Hilal Soudani El Arabi  of Dinamo Zagreb were the other scorers for Algeria.

The Desert Foxes were drawn in Group B alongside Tunisia, Senegal and Zimbabwe.

The teams will be based in Libreville with Algeria beginning their campaign against Zimbabwe on Sunday, 15th January 2017.
