The Singh family from Zambia does not seem to be backing out of attaining Africa rally glory just yet.

The Singh brothers; Muna and Jassy Singh have made a rebound to the Africa Rally Championship with an entry to the 2017 series.

The 2013 ARC champion Jassy Singh, will be making an another attempt to secure a second ARC title.

His first attempt was limited in 2015 when he lost the fight to Kenya’s Jaspreet Chatthe.

For the young brother Muna Singh Jr, fresh from last year’s ARC contention, will be back to re-align his ambitions for his maiden ARC title.

Just like his brother, Muna lost the battle during the Pearl of Africa Rally after mechanical problems sent his opponent Don Smith into early celebrations.

The Zambians will be after a combined twelfth ARC title for their family. Grand father Satwant Singh dominated in the 1980s and 1990s winning eight championships. Muna Singh then followed that with two titles in 2004 and 2005 and Jassy Singh claimed another for the family in 2013

Jassy Singh will have Said Khan calling the pace notes while Muna Singh Jr will partner with Zunaid Khan.

Meanwhile, two more crews will represent Zambia on ARC; Leroy Gomes co-driven by his wife Urshlla Gomes and Kleeven Gomes with Eric Small

ARC round two; the Safari Rally is scheduled for 17th-19th March in Kenya.
