Heathens and Rugby Cranes center, Michael Wokorach has revealed he is not going to quit rugby as yet despite earlier giving in due to a jaw injury he sustained.

Micheal had insisted his body was telling him its time to call it a career – posting on his Social Media page; “Signs I should retire, now my jaw is gone. Maybe the body has allowed.”

Wokorach drew sympathy from his friends and fans, who clearly wanted him to stay a little bit longer and it seems he’s still available.

Speaking to Daily Monitor, Wokorach said: “Yes, I was thinking of hanging (sic) in the towel, but my family advised me to give it one more chance. I am getting better; the jaw is much stable now.

“It was a simple collision with Ben (Okello). But it turned out different and I had to go for an X-Ray, which confirmed a fracture above the big jaw bone. But I hope to recover sooner than expected.”

Wokorach has suffered other kinds of injuries. He broke a collar bone off a spine disk dislocation in 2016.

He was part of the National Sevens team that impressed in Dubai and Cape Town at the HSBC World Series.
