Lweza Football Club  head coach, Ibrahim Kirya has been linked to the vacant URA F.C head coach job.

The development comes in the wake of the sudden sacking of, Kefa Kisala by the board on Sunday night.

URA Football Club CEO Edward Kulubya could neither confirm nor deny the development but promised to come up with a statement by the close of business on Monday.

At the moment, James Odoch is acting head coach. Management will announce a new coach in the next 24 hours. It is true we have talked to Ibrahim Kirya but not yet conclusive

Kisala was relieved of his duties after a dismissal performance that has witnessed the club linger in the unfamiliar mid-table zone having collected just 24 points from 19 games.

URA F.C takes on Lweza on Tuesday at the Mutesa II Stadium Wankulukuku.
