St George Vs Dedebit – At Addis Ababa Stadium
Record champions for the Ethiopia Premier League, St George hosts Dedebit on Saturday in Addis Ababa.
This will be the only on the day of the week 17 fixtures, with the rest of the games coming on Sunday.
Last week, St George won 4-1 away at Arbaminch City as Dedebit drew goal-less with Ethiopian Coffee.
Uganda Cranes duo of goalie Robert Odongkara and midfielder Yassar Mugerwa are expected to play for the reigning Ethiopian champions.
Odongkara told Kawowo Sports, the match will be taken seriously ahead of their first round away engagement in Congo.
The match against Dedebit will be taken with caution and all the due seriousness since it will be like our warm up before we travel to Congo for the CAF Champions league
Last season, St.George condemned Dedebit in 3-0 in Addis Ababa.
Dedebit’s Gethane Kebede is the league top scorer with 11 goals.
He is closely followed by St.George’s Adane Girma (9) and Salhadin Said (7).
St George currently leads the table standings with 32 points, four ahead of the joint second placed Dedebit and Sidama Coffee.
