Farouk Miya was an unused substitute in Royal Excel Mouscron’s 1-0 victory against Standard Liege in the Belgium top flight league match.

Senegalese lanky center forward Simon Pierre Astride Diedhiou scored the lone goal on the day in the 38th minute of the game.

Even though he made the 18 man squad for the day, Miya could not play against his bosses who loaned him to Mouscron.

Royal Excel Mouscron, who remains rock bottom (with 21 points) despite the victory will travel away to K.V Kortrijk at the Guldensporen Stadium next Sunday.

KV Kortrijk is second from bottom with 23 points.
