Bul acting coach, Peter Onen has called on his side to build on their 1-0 victory over Police as they keep fighting for survival in the Premier League.
The Jinja outfit registered their fourth victory of the campaign with a much needed win against the Cops on Friday at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole, with substitute Robert Achema notching the lone goal in the 70th minute.
Onen said: “Today we got a very important win. It was not a simple task especially against a side fighting for their lives too. Hopefully we can use this win as a turning point and restore the confidence because if we are going to do this, we need to believe in ourselves.
“It was a game that really needed to be won. We are all happy for this victory, and hopefully we continue like this.”
Bul have spent the entire campaign fighting relegation. Asked what difference he has made in the dressing room, Onen said: “Nothing! It is just the change in attitude. The players know the situation we are in so the attitude has to change.”
The win was Bul’s second since the turn of the year. It moved them to within one point and place of safety although they remain placed in the red zone with 20 points.
