Luke Prior excited to run for Great Britain in Kampala

Luke Prior has revealed he is excited ahead of his feat at the Kampala World Cross Country Championships on March 26, representing Great Britain on the World stage.

Prior finished third at the UK County Cross Country Championships Under-20 men’s race on 11th March in Loughborough.

Luke told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Only a few months ago i made my international debut in Spain with England, and I went into the Inter-County’s thinking of having an outside chance of selection.

“I would never of thought I would come third and get automatic qualification to represent GB in Kampala, Uganda at the World Cross Country Championships!”

I just want to thank all for the support I have received from my family and friends, both at University and home.”

Kampala will be the fourth African city in the history of the IAAF World Cross Championships to host the tournament.
