Vipers head coach Jorge Miguel Duarte Da Costa has released the 18-man team to South Africa for the return leg of the CAF Confederation Cup against Platinum Stars on Saturday.

This was after the Thursday training session held at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

Da Costa told the media that they are not heading to South Africa to defend since they are in quest of the maximum points.

Flanked by the Media Manager, Kenneth Muwanga alongside two players Milton Karisa and team captain Nico Wakiro Wadada, a confident Da Costa said;

Since I came here, my mission has been straight – to win and win. I will not go there (South Africa) to defend.

We need to attack and win the game so that we progress to the next level.
