KCCA draws Egyptian side Al Masry in CAF Confederation Cup

Denis Okot and company will face Egypt’s El Masry

KCCA FC will play Egypt side Al Masry in the CAF Confederation Cup in the playoff.

Mike Mutebi’s side secured a slot in the draw after losing 3-2 on aggregate to South Africa and African champions, Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.

The Ugandan champions will host the first leg that takes place on the weekend of April 7-9, 2017 and then play away to El Masry in Port Said a week later, April 14-16, 2017.

In other draws, Tanzania’s Young Africans take on MC Alger of Algeria, Platinum Stars of South Africa, who eliminated Uganda’s Vipers face AS Tanda of Ivory Coast while Rayon Sport of Rwanda drew Rivers United of Nigeria.

African giants Club Africain and CS Sfaxien drew Port Louis (Mauritius) and Rail Club du Kadiogo (Burkina Faso) respectively.
