Ndejje Elites head coach Johnson Kawenyera has been invited to attend a high performance coaching course by Confederation of Africa Volleyball.

Kawenyera is one of the few coaches spotted out from the recently concluded Africa Clubs championship that was held in Tunisia.

“It feels good to be given such an opportunity and it is important that I take advantage of it,” he told Kawowo Sports.

Kawenyera, a level 2 coach, has already enjoyed success in his coaching careers having guided Ndejje to four national league titles.

To make it to the course though, he requires to raise 2000USD for all the other expenses. The course will be held in Cairo, Egypt starting May 10.

Ndejje, who made their debut on the continent in 2013, were Uganda’s only representatives at this year’so continental showpiece that brings together winners from the different national leagues.

The team’s best performance on the continent came in 2013 when they made their debut in Antananarivo, Madagascar, under Kawenyera’s tutorship.
