Lweza take their relegation fight to the Eastern part of the country against another relegation candidate Bul on Saturday at Kakindu Stadium, Jinja.
The Kajansi side will arrive at Kakindu hoping to secure their fifth win of the campaign and only their second win in 2017.
After struggling to post inspiring results in the second half of the season, Lweza managed to find their first win of the year.
The Hamza Kalanzi coached side beat fellow relegation rivals The Saints 2-0 last week to walk home with three points for the first time since the turn of the year.
With Bul, another side fighting for their lives in the league their next opponents, Kalanzi will hope his side draws confidence from that win as they look to register a rare win against a side they have not beaten in their previous league meetings.
Hosts Bul will feel confident too coming into the game off the back of a spirited performance against bitter rivals JMC in the Eastern derby eleven days ago. The soap makers edged their rivals 2-1.
Tomorrow’s match is a must win for either sides as both are fighting to preserve their premier league statuses. The two sides shared spoils in the reverse fixture, but with the season end just around the corner, that will not be the result either side will fancy on Saturday.
With Kirinya-Jinja SSS out of action and with The Saints drawing 1-1 against Proline on Friday, both sides have a chance of dislodging the school boys from the eleventh position.
The two are separated by a point as Bul sit 13th with 26 points.
