KCCA coach Mike Ray Mutebi has urged his boys to react at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku when they visit Express FC.

The Kasasiro head into the game on the back of just one win in six league outings and haven’t won in the last three losing the most recent.

The champions saw their unbeaten run on the turf came to end on Tuesday against Vipers to re-invite the chasing pack into the title race again.

“It is a reactionary match,” said Mutebi ahead of the clash at Wankulukuku. “I was not overly bothered by the result (Vipers’ 2-1 loss) because we made school boy mistakes,” he added.

The reaction will be that those mistakes are addressed. We are facing a much organised side defensively.

Top of the table with 48 points, same as second placed SC Villa who have played two more games, KCCA remain strong favourites to retain the title and Mutebi remains confident despite a slump.

It’s not going to be easy. But we are confident and feel we have ability to defend that championship.

This season, the Lugogo side has been phenomenal at home but average away and it remains to be seen how they react in their remaining fixtures.
