Tangawuzi earns maiden call up to Kenya Harambee stars team

Former Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) and The Saints defender, Wilkison Marlon Tangauzi is among the 26 players summoned by Kenya Harambee Stars head coach Stlanley Okumbi ahead of the international friendly against Angola on 4th June 2017.

Tangauzi, was born in Nairobi to Kenyan parents but had lived in Uganda for a long time.

In January, he was recruited to play for the reigning KPL champions, Tusker after a spell with Ugandan schools and top flight clubs.

Gor Mahia, Posta Rangers and Kariobangi Sharks have contributed a lion’s share of players to this Kenyan squad of only home based players.

Tangauzi makes the team alongside another Tusker player, midfielder Jackson Macharia.

The summoned players are expected to report to camp on 28th May 2017.

The team will camp in Machakos ahead of the international friendly match, which is part of the preparations for the CHAN 2018 tournament that will be hosted by Kenya in January and February next year.
