2017 Caddies Golf match play challenge:

Entebbe Golf Club caddies optimally put home advantage to full play with a 5-3 victory over their Uganda Golf Club (Kampala) counterparts.

The day long match play challenge took place to the lake side Entebbe Golf Club.

The pairing of Simon Peter Luyombya and Bright Kato Mukama defeated Bukenya and Sebunya pair 5&4.

Entebbe caddies master Tony Mudungu combined with Cliff Bwire to beat Ben Kateeba and John Kasozi pairing 4&3.

John Abaho and Reginah Namata saw off Paul and Robinah Angwom pair 4&3.

Uganda Golf Club’s Ronnie. A. and Liz. K edged Entebbe’s Nicholas Kaweesa and Albert Kayoma 4&3.

The all female Kampala pair comprising of Milly Mbabazi and Beckie Muwanazi overcame Olobo Moses and Daniel Mwesige 2&1.

John Kokas Elungat and Lawrence Walakira were 3&2 winners past Kampala’s Ssenteza and Ben.

Meanwhile, Entebbe’s Brian Kamoga and Bruhan Matovu got the better of Okello and Zura pair 2-up.

The winners smiled home with a glittering trophy.

The challenge is an annual event meant to further foster cordial relationship between the two sister golfing clubs.
