Ahead of their CAF Champions League tie against Tunisia’s Esperance of Tunisia, Mamelodi Sundowns have been boosted by the return of defender Wayne Arendse.

The defender has been out since March when he was hauled off at Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo in the 1-1 draw with Uganda’s KCCA in the pre-group stage of the CAF Champions League.

The African champions revealed the news on their twitter account as they prepare for the crunch tie against the Tunisian giants.

Sundowns are currently in third place in their group, with four points from three games, and trail Ethiopian side St George and their Tunisian rivals by one and three points respectively.

They lost their last game against Esperance 2-1 at the Lucas Moripe stadium.
