Former winners Gomba, Kyadondo and holders Buddu are the only three teams that managed to win away from home in their respective fixtures of the Airtel Buganda Masaza Cup on Sunday.

Sharp forward Joseph Jjanjali, part of the 2016 winning team for Buddu scored the precious away goal for Gomba away to Singo at the Mityana Ssaza ground.

At the Ssembabule playground, hosts Mawogola were condemned to a 3-1 defeat by the cup holders Buddu in a game Mikidadi Ssenyonga starred with a brace.

Kyadondo managed a slim 1-0 away victory to Buvuma at the Magyo playground on the Lake Victoria island.

Fred Kajoba’s coached Busiro humiliated Mawokota 3-0 at the Ssentema playground.

Kabula defeated Kooki 2-0 in Lyantonde and Kyaggwe perfectly revenged against Bulemeezi with a 1-0 win at home.

Meanwhile, Allan Kabonge’s coached Buwekula returned to winning ways with a hard fought 2-1 home victory over visiting Busujju at the barren Kasenyi playground in Mubende district.

The only game that ended in a draw was between Buluuli and Bugerere at the UMEA playground in Migyera with neither side finding the net.
