Newly promoted Uganda Premier League outfit, Mbarara City will soon conduct non residential trials for players who wish to join the club.
The week long trials will start on Tuesday, 20th June 2017 at the club’s home Kakyeeka stadium in Mbarara and climax on Saturday, 24th June.
The development was confirmed by the club’s Public Relations Officer, Michael Ddungu on Monday.

In a bid to identify raw talent and possibly bolster the squad ahead of the new Uganda Premier League season, Mbarara City FC have now embarked on trials.
The exercise starts on Tuesday 20th to Saturday 24th June 2017 at Kakyeka stadium starting from 9 a.m.
A bulk of players from Western Region are expected to participate in the trials that will be conducted by members of the technical team in absence of the head coach, Richard Makumbi who is set to enroll for CAF B Coaching Course.

The trials will be handled by the club’s assistant coaches Nasibu Ndita and Kazimiri Byamukama as the club awaits the experts.
The club Chief Executive Officer, Sseka Mutaka will also supervise the exercise with a keen eye.
Mbarara City is among the three clubs that earned promotion to Uganda Premier League from the FUFA Big League.
Mbarara City defeated Masaka based Synergy 2-1 in the promotional final played at the Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo with South Sudanese import Makweth Wol twice on target.
Solomon Okwalinga scored for Synergy.
Masavu and Maroons are the other two clubs promoted for the 2017/18 season, replacing Sadolin Paints, JMC Hippos and Lweza.
The new season will kick off mid-August 2017.
