KCCA manager Mike Hilary Mutebi is wary of the threat posed by Rivers United striker John Odumegwu ahead of the two sides’ meeting in Port Harcourt.

The two sides face off in a group A clash with either seeking a decent result to enlighten chances of reaching the quarter finals.

“I am only worried about that big centre forward (Odumegwu),” said Mutebi. “He is huge, left sided and uses the ball well,” he added.

Actually, among all the clubs we have played, he leads the line well. He is the best of all we have faced on the continent.

On the match itself, Mutebi he expects a good game but targets a good result and won’t sacrifice their style.

We are being very respectful to rivers united but we want to here. We want to get a good result against them. Given the way we played them in Uganda, they are a team that can play well but made so many school boy mistakes much as we did.

In the end, they want to win and we want to win so it will be open game.

I believe it’s going to be a good match with scores for both sides. I would love it if we won because we are here to get a good result.

Rivers United haven’t lost at home and neither have they conceded any goal on the continent winning against the likes of Real Bamako, Al Hilal, FUS Rabat and Rayon Sport but Mutebi isn’t bothered going by current form.

We have to look at the history but that was then. On the current form and what has been happening in the league. It’s different altogether but we have to come here and play attractive way and get a good result.

KCCA are second on the log with 6 points, three more than Rivers United and Club Africain.
