Three Ugandan footballers will on Sunday evening depart for a trial stint with top flight clubs in Zambia Premier League.

The players in the context are; Farouk Minaya, Isaac Mutanga and Manko Kaweesa. Tried, proven and tested midfielder Kaweesa is the most experienced of the three.

Kaweesa has played for the Uganda Cranes and played at top flight clubs in Uganda and Ethiopia at Uganda Revenue Authority, Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) and Electricity respectively.

He has been featuring at Lweza football club last season and will be joined by Mutanga and Minaya.

According to their representative Nganda Mugwanya, all the three players are fit and ready to display their full potential.

Mugwanya does not disclose the intended destiny of his clients for fear of sabotage.

Indeed, three footballers born in Uganda will leave the country on Sunday for professional trials in Zambia. They have the full potential and fit to play well. To where, they heading (clubs), we shall not mention now

All these three players are free agents.

Just in case the players impress on the trials and get signed, they will swell the list of Ugandans on official duty in Zambia to 6.

Already, Joseph Ochaya and Herman Nteza Wasswa are at Lusaka Dynamos while diminutive though immensely skilled striker Jimmy Bageya plays at NAPSA stars football club.
