Agile and towering central defender Martin Mpuuga has signed a permanent deal with Police Football Club, his agent has confirmed.

He put pen to paper on a two-year contract on Monday at the Police headquarters in Kibuli, Kampala.

“Yes, Martin Mpuuga has signed for two years at Police Football Club because he was still on loan from KCCA,” Mpuuga’s agent Geoffrey Kayemba told Kawowo Sports.

Mpuuga joined Police on loan from KCCA Football Club in January 2017 during the secondary transfer window.

Usually deployed as a right back, Mpuuga has won the LG CECAFA Cup, Uganda Cup with Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) and the league with time at the Kasasiro.

He joins Yassin Mugume and Hood Kaweesa as the other players to extend their stay at the Police.

Former Uganda Cranes holding midfielder who had successful stints with Diary and KCC (now KCCA) Abdallah Mubiru is the head coach at Police Football Club.
