SC Villa are close to agreeing terms with midfielder Hakim Ssenkumba for a possible deal.
The midfielder is a free agent after being released by KCCA despite having a year left on his contract.
Ssenkumba, who previously played for Bunamwaya (now Vipers), spent half of last season at Police FC from the Kasasiro where he had renewed his stay with a two new year deal before the commencement of the previous campaign.
“The deal is as good as done but there are minor details to be sorted,” a source close to the player told Kawowo Sports. “If all goes well, he will sign on the dotted lines by Wednesday,” he added.
In case Ssenkumba joins the Jogoos, it will be his third stint at the 16-time league champions.
He will join fellow returnee, Simon Sserunkuma who joined from Express plus other new faces at Villa Park in Mahad Kakooza, Mukasa Musa and Allan Kyambadde among others
