Ghana Black Stars midfielder Mubarak Wakaso, 26, has moved to Spanish Liga side Deportivo Alaves for a three-year deal.
After passing his medical, he put pen to paper on a three-year deal on Monday.
Wakaso terminated his contract Greek Panathinaikos last Friday.
He has previously played in Spain with Espanyol, Las Palmas and Granada.
To sign at Alaves, he declined offers from Turkey, Russia, Maccabi from Tel Aviv and Getafe.
He is Luis Zubeldia’s eighth signing at the Vitoria-Gasteiz based side that finished 9th last season.
Wakaso remains an integral pillar for the Ghana Black Stars team in the AFCON 2019 and FIFA World Cup 2018 Qualifiers.
Ghana is in the same qualifiers group with Uganda, Egypt and Congo Brazzaville for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
