Zimbabwe ambassador to Senegal H.E Trudy Stevenson has talked up the “poor” hosting hotel conditions for the national rugby team in Uganda ahead of their Africa Gold Cup duel on Saturday.
The former Member of Parliament for Harare North in the Parliament of Zimbabwe claimed on social media that the team is living in sorry conditions as they prepare to face hosts Uganda in the Africa Gold Cup final match at Legends Rugby Grounds.
Stevenson wrote on her social media page, revealing how one of the team members got utterly mistreated, claiming they had been given “a small dish to wash in.”
..team staying in v poor hotel, one member given a basin to wash in! Disappointing treatment..
She later added; “Correction: ‘ given a small dish to bathe in’ not a basin!! Shameful.”
