Lusaka Dynamos recovered from goal down to defeat Zesco United 2-1 in the Zambia Premier League at the Levi Mwanawasa Stadium on Thursday.

Smarting from a 2-0 victory over Nakambala Leopards last week, Zesco United took the lead through Davis Kasirye’s opener in the 71st minute.

The visitors staged a late show scoring the equalizer through Erick Kabulo’s 82nd minute header.

Thembo Fwayo scored the winner 2 minutes after the 90th minute mark to condemn the current Zambian Premier league table leaders.

Despite the loss, Kasirye, a formerly at Rayon Sports in Rwanda and Darling Motema Pembe was glad to get on the score sheet.

“We have lost and it is painful. I am happy about the goal scored which opens my goal account in the Zambia League. I look forward scoring in the subsequent matches,” Kasirye, who is managed by agent Ronnie Santos said after the match.

Lusaka Dynamos is home to two Ugandans Herman Wasswa and Joseph Ochaya. The duo however, did not take part in the match.

Dynamos now climb to 4th on the 20 team log.

The Lusaka based side will remain camped in Ndola ahead of their league engagement against Buildcon FC on Sunday 13th August 2017.

Buildcon is home to two Ugandans Geoffrey Sserunkuma and Isaac Isinde.
