After a week, he was sought after by two other clubs Ethiopia Coffee and Dedebit.
As you read this, the creative midfielder’s signature is already on the dotted lines on Ethiopia Coffee forms.
It required the intervention of the Ethiopia Football Federation to decide on the player’s fate.
It is reported that Adama City had signed him outside the foreign player’s transfer date (1st to 31st August 2017).
Although the transfer fees remain muted, the Ugandan will reportedly earn $5500 per month for his services.
One of the most awaited days for Ntambi at his new club will be that time of the ‘Sheger Derby’ between record league winners St George and Ethiopia coffee.
St George is home to two other Ugandans Robert Odongkara and midfielder Yassar Mugerwa (who could be loaned to Wolatya).
Ntambi, 26, had joined Gimma Aba – Buna from South African second division side Vasco Da Gama.
