Four-time National Basketball League champions KCCA Leopards are yet to see defeat this season.

And certainly it was not going to come from freshers Lioness as last year’s finalists posted a routine 68-38 win at UCU in Mukono.

After a closely contested opening quarter, Lioness were no match for the Leopards as shooting guards Dorothy Kyamazima (12 points) and Joy Chemtai (8 points) as well as Patricia Arado (8 points) led KCCA’s team effort on Sunday afternoon.

Sarah Nassuna’s 13 points and Patricia 12 points and 9 rebounds could not save Lioness from defeat.

Meanwhile, Javon Ladies defeated anemic A1 Challenge 32-30 in a low scoring game.

Rhoda Nagita had a poor outing for Jvaon but Joana Makanga took charge scoring game high 13 points to pace the Mukono-based side. Stella Nanfuka scored 9 for A1.
