Norman Blick is yet to find his touch at JKL Dolphins

If JKL Dolphins have to learn something about the National Basketball League, it certainly has to be the fact that it takes more than big bodies to win a game.

Despite having the experience of Ivan Enabu and Norman Blick to bank on, JKL Dolphins once again failed to win as they fell short against Sharing Youth 61-57 on Sunday.

Dolphins (4-8) won the opening quarter 15-12, but could not defend in the second as Sharing (3-9) exploded for 27 points with Baraka Mopele scoring 10 of his team high 16 points in the period.

JLK trailed by 11 at the start of the fourth quarter and tried to rally back by scoring the four quick points to come within 7.

However, Stephen Otoa (12 points) and Tonny Okello (10 points) as well as Mopele kept Sharing in charge of the game.

Ferdinand Odama’s game high 22 points and 9 rebounds were in a losing effort. Libe Makala managed 11 points in JKL’s thin line-up.
