Keshwala Boys win Season 5 of Night Cricket

The curtains came down on Season 5 of the Rainbow Cup, a night cricket tournament with Keshwala Boys emerging winners.

There wasn’t any redemption for Cosmos Warriors trying to avenge their loss in the semifinals as the Keshwala Boys beat them by 7 wickets.

Keswhala Boys won the toss and chose to field 1st even though Cosmos scored 150/8 in their 20 Overs, the Keshwala Boys were a determined lot easily chasing the score inside 15 overs for loss of only 3 wickets.

Ronak Patel capped off a fine Ugandan experience for himself winning himself the MVP crown which came with a brand new tablet from Ferro Mobile.

Cosmos captain Usman Mohammed won the best batsman award and Gurpeet Singh of Handi XI winning the best bowler award.

The media will get to test their night skills when they take on a KBSC XI this evening in Lugogo.
