Asaph Mwebaze says his side are ready to build on a brilliant performance against KCCA.

The Prisons side were the better side at Lugogo as the two sides settled for a barren stalemate prompting the long serving tactician to describe that as a good start.

“Nice start,” said Mwebaze in a post-match interview. “We can build on that,” he added.

The outspoken tactician, former assistant to KCCA gaffer Mike Mutebi while still at Maroons believes his side deserved more than a point after creating the better goal scoring opportunities.

“We created chances and should have buried several opportunities. The occasion could have got to the boys.”

Charles Lukwago, the hosts’ goalkeeper thwarted whatever was thrown at him by William Wadri, Pius Obuya and Godwin Kitagenda among others.

The result is the first of its kind in the previous seven meetings where KCCA have won five against Maroons one.
