Uganda Martyrs’ University and visiting Kyambogo played to a goal-less stalemate in Nkozi on Thursday afternoon.

The two institutions failed to find the back of the net despite attempts to create goal scoring opportunities.

The home team goalkeeper Julius Ssekyewa was voted man of the match for his outstanding performance throughout the match.

UMU which is coached by Shaf now leads the table with 10 points, three better of second placed Kyambogo.

Bishop Stuart University which held Mbarara University of Science and Technology to a 2 all draw on Wednesday is third with 4 points.

MUST is bottom placed with just a single point earned.

The league continues on Friday with Busitema against Kampala International University (KIU) in Busitema.

Saturday will be a rest day before Sunday’s action between Makerere and UCU at Makerere.

Kampala University (KU), coached by Vincent ‘Titi Camara’ Tumusiime is the defending champion.
