Muhammad Shaban has a completed a move to KCCA from Onduparaka Kawowo Sports confirms.
The striker has been linked with a move to Lugogo since mid-last season and has in the previous weeks shown desire to leave the Arua based club.
Sources close to both the player and club indicate all has been agreed and what awaits is the player unveiling before the closure of the registration window on September 21.
“I can confirm that Shaban is now a KCCA player,” a reliable source confirmed.
It’s a shocking deal after just months ago, KCCA manager Mike Mutebi openly questioned the player’s mentality especially off the pitch.
The Lugogo based side has done a lot of shopping in the window in regards with the striking force with Patrick Kaddu, Samuel Kayongo and Tito Okello among the new faces in the department.
The trio plus Shaban will have to compete for a starting place with Derrick Nsibambi who is now the most experienced centre forward at Lugogo following the departure of Geoffrey Sserunkuma.
