Rwanda Amavubi forward Abeddy Biramahire got Police’s consolation in the 43rd minute.

Eric Kamotera Rutanga punished his former side with a well converted a free kick off the edge of the goal area three minutes to full time.

Earlier, APR were reduced to 10 men following Muhadjir Hakizimana’s red card.

As top scorer, Kalanda was rewarded with 100,000 Rwanda francs. So were the other outstanding players – goalkeeper Eric ‘Bakame’ Ndayishimiye (Rayon Sports), promising player Martin Fabrice Twizeyimana (APR) and the tournament MVP, Yannick Mukunzi of Rayon Sports.
