Kirinya-Jinja S.S striker Faizal Muwawu scored his first goal in the Uganda Premier League in the 1-0 victory away to Masavu at the Fisheries Training Institute, Bugonga on Tuesday.
The fast paced forward raced onto George Kasonko’s telling through ball before he lobbed the ball over the advancing goalkeeper Mansoor Mutumba in the 4th minute.
Muwawu, in an exclusive interview shortly after the match disclosed his urge to seek for more goals at Kirinya-Jinja S.S;
I am grateful to have scored my first goal at the club.
I will keep focused and determined to add on my tally.
Last season, Muwawu played at FUFA Big League side Nyamityobora in the second tier division, scoring 5 goals.
The hard working forward is a graduate of the famous University Football League where he remains the all time goal scorer with 21 goals.

The victory propelled Kirinya-Jinja S.S to second place with 8 points from 5 games.
Now the two center forwards at the Jinja based club Muwawu and Musa Esenu have each scored.
Esenu scored the consolation against Bright Stars in their 2-1 loss at the Champions Stadium in Mwererwe.
Kirinya-Jinja S.S will host Proline next Tuesday, 17th October 2017 at Bugembe stadium in Jinja.
