FUFA Competitions Department has given an ultimatum to London Stallions Women Football Club of Thursday, 12th October 2017 (5:00 p.m) as deadline to submit all the required documentations lest, they risk disqualification.

The ultimatum was issued by the newly appointed acting Competitions Director, Aisha Nalule (sitting in for Ali Mwebe who is away for studies in Germany).

“London Stallions has up to Thursday (5:00 p.m) to submit the documents necessary so that they are licenced,” Nalule, an experienced guru in licencing noted.

For starters, London Stallions narrowly survived relegation when they league committee decided not to demote any club citing development clauses of the women football top flight league.

Meanwhile, the fourth edition of the women league will officially kick off this Saturday with just one match.

Mutesa I Royal University entertains a rejuvenated Ajax Queens at the Mutesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

Sunday will present a variety of games where ardent women football fans and sports journalists shall be spoilt for choice.

Olila Girls host Eastern Heroes in a derby of sorts for the Eastern region in Soroti.

She Corporate will take on Gafford Ladies at MUBS, Uganda Martyrs host a beefed up UCU Lady Cardinals side in Lubaga and newly promoted Isra Academy of Rogers Nkugwa will entertain Lady Mouriho’s She Makerere in Kawempe.

Kawempe Muslim, three time winners since the league inception in 2013 shall be out of action.
