Arua based Uganda Premier League side Onduparaka Football Club is back in the transfer news.
Kawowo Sports has learnt Onduparaka is interested in acquiring the services of Maroons left footed gem Pius ”Iniesta” Obuya.
The club technical team of Leo Adraa and Charles Livingstone Mbabazi nodded in the affirmative to have the player signed as soon as possible.
The former U-17 national team graduate still has two years left on his current contract at the Prisons’ run club.
However, Onduparaka is reportedly unfazed by that status as they are willing to exploit the buy out clause and acquire the treasured services of the youngster.
Obuya’s representative Moses Kibirango is well aware that Obuya is one of the most sought after young players.
Fine, Obuya is being looked at by many clubs but personally, I am targeting those that will help the development of the player into a finished product.
Kibirango also claims that KCCA and a youth Germany side (TSG 1899 Hoffenheim U-20) approached him for his client.
Obuya is one of the most creative players in the domestic league at present and he is an integral part of team Maroons.
