Express FC assistant captain Steven Luswata says garnering points is the most important thing at the moment.

The Red Eagles won their successive game in the league with a slim 1-0 victory over URA on Tuesday following a false start which saw the six-time champions fail to win in three league fixtures.

The Wankulukuku based side haven’t been good on the eye so far but the midfield gem thinks points are more important than style.

“We didn’t start so well,” said Luswata. “But the good thing is that we are starting to pick points and that’s to me more important than style at the moment,” he added.

Before the international break, the players didn’t look the part in terms of fitness but the longest serving player of the lot at Wankulukuku says the international break didn’t leave them the same.

We are definitely in better shape physically than we are two weeks ago.

Express’ next outing will be another home game against Onduparaka on October 20.
