The 2017 National Rally Championship season finally shows all signs of being a competitive race.

The Oryx HeartBeat Rally is scheduled for 17-19 November in Masaka.

The return of the defending NRC champion Jas Mangat is one of the aspects that will spice up the competition next weekend.

Mangat returns to the cockpit for the first time since this year’s season opener last January.

The three-time NRC champion will be uniting with his first co-driver Olivier Meganck for the weekend’s event.

Mangat started his rallying career with Megnack in 2005 driving a VW Golf. It has been seven years since their last participation as a crew.

Meanwhile, over forty crews have registered for the season finale which will play the NRC title decider between Christakis Fitidis, Duncan Mubiru and Ronald Sebuguzi.
