For fans planning to travel to the AT&T Park for the Rugby World Cup sevens in San Francisco, USA, single-day tickets are hitting the market next week.
The tournament gets underway 20th July and closes out on 22nd.
“Single-day general admission ticket pricing will be announced next week when the tickets go on sale on 21 November,” a statement released by World Rugby Media read.
The availability of single-day tickets has been a target for the World Rugby sevens organizers and USA Rugby CEO Dan Payne revealed how much they have been waiting for this.
“We’re very much looking forward to single-day tickets becoming available, it certainly provides more accessibility to new fans of rugby and those working around a schedule,” he told World Rugby Media.
The world’s top 24 men’s and 16 women’s teams, from more than 25 nations will converge for three days of intense competition.
New Zealand will be trying to retain the 2013 men’s and women’s titles they won in Moscow, and Olympic Games gold medal winners Fiji (men) and Australia (women) will also be competing for the title.
Uganda will field the men’s team after claiming the Africa sevens title for the second time in a row last month.
Uganda successfully defended the crown they won when they defeated Namibia 38-19 in the cup final at the Moi Kasarani Safaricom Stadium last year.
