Two time league champions Vipers visit UPDF FC in Bombo on Wednesday banking on a brilliant record for maximum points.

Miguel Da Costa’s charges haven’t lost to the Bombo based club in the previous four seasons winning six of the last eight meetings.

Vipers last lost a league game to UPDF FC, then Simba in the 2012/13 in Buikwe, a 2-1 defeat masterminded by now Bright Stars Coach, Fred Kajoba.

The Venoms head into the game on the back of edging Mbarara City thanks to a controversial winner by Congolese striker Moussa Clovis Mbayi, a win that ended a three game winless streak.

Against a struggling UPDFC FC side, Vipers will be keen to take full advantage with a win likely to put them back on the log after a long time if Police and Onduparaka falter in their respective fixtures.

Mbayi, Milton Karisa and Tony Odur are likely to lead the line for third placed Vipers while second from bottom UPDF FC will rely on veteran Godfrey Wakaza for inspiration.
