Uganda Premier League side Kirinya Jinja SS has been docked a point and goal by the FUFA Disciplinary Panel.
According to the statement that bares the decision, Kirinya Jinja SS official Hannington Kalyesubula verbally attacked match officials after defeat to Soana at Bugembe on Saturday November 14, 2017.
The FA has invoked article 30.15 of the FUFA Competitions Rules which states that;
If the match official(s) report(s) indicate(s) that individuals or groups have verbally insulted a member of the match crew, the defaulting club from whom such an individual or group are judged by FUFA Disciplinary Committee to come from will lose one (1) point and one (1) Goal from those already accumulated for a league format competition.
That means the Students dropped to 10th on the log from 8th with 17 points, same as Proline and Maroons who have a superior goal difference.
Log leaders SC Villa also faced similar sanctions earlier in the season but were docked two points and as many goals following violence in the 1-0 defeat at Kitende.
Meanwhile, Charles Lukula Ayiekoh, their coach will also face a four match touchline ban for unsporting conduct.
