KCCA coach Mike Mutebi has confirmed the club has released three players.
Striker Samuel Ssekamatte Kayongo plus midfielders Abdallah Muhammad and Allan Oryek are the three players the club has parted ways with.
“Ssekamatte, Abdallah and Oryek have been released,” Mutebi told Kawowo Sports. “For now, they are free to join any club/s of their choice and we wish them all the best,” he added.
Shockingly, the trio joined the club in the previous transfer window and made a handful of appearances thanks largely to injuries.
Other pending exits
The gaffer also confirmed the club is poised to let go of striker Derrick Nsibambi, defender Isaac Muleme as well as goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan.
There are deals in place for the trio and if it makes business for the club, we shall let them go.
KCCA have already added goalie Thomas Ikara, midfielders Walter Ochora and Solomon Okwalinga plus striker Abubaker Matsiko to their ranks.
The Kasasiro have a busy 2018 in which they have to fight for defence of the league and Uganda Cup as well as do well in the CAF Champions League.
