  • Egerton University 0-6 Gor Mahia Football Club

Reigning Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia Football Club kick started the pre season in emphatic style on Friday.

Gor Mahia smiled to a 6-0 win against Egerton University at their residential camp.

Newly signed Ivorian center forward Ephrem Guikan notched a brace.

The other goals came from Samuel Onyango, Wellington Ochieng, Bonface Omondi and Francis Kahata.

The match was witnessed by a record crowd attendance at the Egerton Pavilion.

Gor Mahia is preparing for the start of the new season where they will also represent Kenya at the 2018 CAF Champions league.

Gor Mahia shall take on Equatorial Guinea’s Leones Vegetarianoes.

The historic club is home to Uganda Cranes left back Godfrey ‘Jajja Walu’ Walusimbi.

They were recently nominated for the SOYA team of the year award alongside KCB Rugby club and U-19 Kenya Cricket teams.
