Philip Ameny has returned to Power Basketball Club after a couple of seasons at Kyambogo based side Warriors.
The center is the replacement to last year’s regular season MVP Michael Makiadi who left the five-time National Basketball League champions for Rwandan side Patriots.
The Kenyan center last played for Power in the 2015 season before falling out with then coach Robert Mugabe who was later shown the exit door.
Power also acquired the services of Stephen Wundi at the start of the year.
Meanwhile, Ivan Lumanyika who played for the side during during last year’s Zone V Club Championship could also join on a permanent basis.
Power last won the national league in 2011 and have played in two finals since, losing both to City Oilers.
