FUFA Uganda Cup gets title sponsor

Stanbic Bank has been unveiled as title sponsors for the The FUFA Uganda Cup.

The deal is worth Shs300M to carter for prize money and other logistics that will assist in the organization of the tournament that has been played since 1971.

Meanwhile, there are 32 clubs left in this year’s tournament. There are 13 top flight clubs, 12 second division clubs and 7 from the regions.

The draws for the round of 32 were conducted at the same event with Vipers vs. Police the highlight of the 16 fixtures.

The winner of the Uganda Cup qualifies to represent the country at the CAF Confederation cup.
