Proline’s miserable start to the second round of the Uganda Premier League continued with a 1-0 defeat at the hands of UPDF in Bombo.

Fahad Bardiro scored the winner with three minutes to the final whistle for a deserved victory at Bombo.

Steven Bogere’s army men were dominant for most parts of the game and on several occasions, were denied by Man of the Match, Said Keni, the Proline goalkeeper.

UPDF now move to 14 points but remain rooted at the base of the log while Proline, just a place above relegation with 17 points are 13th on the 16-team table standings.

The league resumes on Thursday with a big one as SC Villa visit KCCA at Lugogo in the only game of the day.
