KCCA miss two penalties, slip to Ntinda United in friendly

KCCA Football Club fell 3-1 to FUFA Big League side Ntinda United during a friendly match at StarTimes Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

Two former Masavu players Fred Umony and Robert Sentongo Junior, some of the club’s secondary transfer window recruits gave the visitors a shock 2-0 lead.

KCCA striker Muhammed ‘Jaggarson’ Shaban pulled a goal back.

The home team would have easily wrapped up the game but were a victim of two missed penalties.

Midfielder Ibrahim Sadam Juma and Shaban’s kicks were foiled by goalkeeper Hudson Lwanga.

Fahad Kalema put the game to bed for Ntinda United with the third goal on the evening.

KCCA is preparing for the Uganda Premier League match against Sports Club Villa Jogoo at Lugogo on Thursday as well as the return leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round match with Madagascar’s CNaps.

On the other hand, Ntinda United is preparing the start of the second round for the FUFA Big League.

On 1st March 2018, Ntinda United, a newly promoted side will travel to the Masaka Recreational Stadium to face Greater Masaka Football Club.

During the first leg played at Kamwokya, Ntinda United won 2-0.
